North Devon Complete Building Solutions is an independent local building company. It was set up by it’s two company directors Phil and Iain, both with over 20 years experience each. Phil Adams
Director
Phil was born in Barnstaple where he first discovered his passion for carpentry. As a young boy Phil made things with his grandad; from a model wooden farm yard to a go kart. He credits this early exposure to intricate craftmanship to his love of construction.
Starting as an apprentice, Phil gained invaluable skills and experience at Pearce Construction. He then enjoyed many years working with small local builders all over the south west. Through this work as a subcontractor he met Iain.
He loves working one to one with clients ensuring the build is a top job! Before Complete Building Solutions Phil and Iain were friends and colleagues. Today, their business continues to grow and develop in the community of North Devon.
Iain Harris
Director
Iain was born and bred in Braunton and still lives there with his partner and daughters. Initally, Iain chose Retail Management as his career. But his love of carpentry eventually drew him into the building trade.
Fortunate to gain building skills from working in the family business - JBG Flat Roofing. Iain decided to qualify in carpentry and joinery. He then acquired practical experience in general building working with established local builders.
He thrives on completing high spec jobs in a friendly yet professional way. Iain and Phil’s work together as individual tradesmen ignited the idea of Complete-Build. It seems they have many things in common not least being avid Chelsea football fans!
